Pretty much my whole day at work yesterday was spent in orientation. It was a long day, but I did gain a lot of useful information from it. Sexual harassment was long and boring. The company history was interesting though. The company was started by 2 guys in their basement as most good tech companies are. After the death of Mary Byron the company filled a role that was greatly needed by victims and their families. From there the company has grown and produces numerous products for victim notification. VINE (Victim Information & Notification Everyday) is their first and most know about product.
Vinelink is free to use. Only counties around Atlanta have signed up for it in Georgia, but most states have full coverage. It is a good way to keep worried victims informed of an offender's jail status.
Here's an overview of the product.

Here's a link to the freely available product.

Feel free to pass the information along to anyone you think might be in need of it. Thanks.
